February 6, 1991  Bidding farewell to Sheikh Mohamed Abdullah Mubarak Al-Sabah outside the Kuwaiti Embassy are many FKC Media Committee members, including Ibrahim Qabazard (left), Gary Eales (green jacket), and Michael Lorrigan (black jacket). Behind Sheikh Mohamed is Sheikh Majid Al-Sabah taking leave of a loved one. Also in the crowd are Sam Bassan (in turban), Sheikha Iman Fahad Al-Sabah, Dr. Yousif Shuhaibar, Mustafa Al-Mulla, John Lewinton (in gray hat), beside him Jassim Qabazard, and Ahmad Al-Houli (extreme right) of the Kuwaiti High Committee. It was a sad day because no one knew if the volunteers would be safe.
