Campaign Buttons  FKC buttons are shown in 5 languages: Arabic, English, Welsh, French, and German. The button on the upper left depicts the first version of the official FKC logo. Virtually all buttons designed by Michael Lorrigan, Sam Bassan, and Ali Al-Mulaifi. The design process for campaign memorabilia involved creation by Lorrigan based on items and suggestions submitted by Bassan. Al-Mulaifi, an interior designer by profession with a good visual eye, was consulted when the others were close to the finished article. The next step was showing the items to the rest of the Media Committee members. If everyone liked the design, the item was manufactured. If not, adjustments were made. From start to finish, the process was speedy. The committee operated mostly autonomously, often had its own sources of funding, and rarely needed approval for its projects.
