The postcard was widely distributed in the UK and US. (This website, relying on John Levins as its source, originally attributed the postcard solely to Al-Mousa until she contacted us: "“I have to alert you to a mistake in attributing the design of the 'Hitler' postcard to me. It was NOT designed by me. I recall Michael Lorrigan coming up with the idea and implementing it. John Levins, in his book 'Days of Fear,' mistakenly attributed the design to me and I have a letter of apology from him for this mistake. I feel that this is an opportunity to correct the mistake and give credit where credit is due." However, Lorrigan’s recollection differs: "I am not going to take credit for the Hitler card. I may have suggested the final design and caption, but it was Muna who showed the 2 photos me, with the basic idea. So give her credit for the original idea, which I then may have 'fine tuned'!")
