January 15, 1991  On the day of the UN deadline demanding Iraqi withdrawal from Kuwait, thousands of anti-Iraq demonstrators across the US participated in rallies, vigils, church services, and public meetings. Outside the Iraqi Embassy in Washington DC, (on right) Michael Lorrigan of the FKC's Media Committee joined US protestors. Behind him is former American human shield hostage Miles Hoffman.
