December 5, 1990  Kuwaiti Minister of Foreign Affairs (now Emir of Kuwait) Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah paid a surprise visit to FKC headquarters at Porchester Terrace. In a casual setting in the basement office of the Media Committee office, he discussed the nation's future and expressed optimism that returning home was imminent. He conveyed a message from the Emir of gratitude for the Committee's work. Seated (from left) are the Minister, Alaa' Al-Salah, Bader Al-Nashi, Khalid Al-Hajri, and Sheikha Iman Fahad Al-Sabah.
