November 2, 1990  As part of the afternoon event, an exhibition outside the church of St. Martin-in-the-Fields showed some of the atrocities committed by the Iraqi regime. The event inside the church was the 2nd of 3 main events in London. The activities, the largest ever undertaken by the FKC, marked the invasion’s 3-month anniversary and were nationwide. Simultaneous with the 3 London events, volunteers all over the UK distributed buttons, stickers, leaflets, and Friends of Kuwait application forms throughout the day. Students from at least 120 universities, colleges, and polytechnics took part to cover more than 200 cities and towns. London alone had more than 1,000 volunteers who spent the day at all major tube stations, shopping malls, and the city center.
